  2. I thought Erika and Nick's presentation was very thorough and interactive. I really liked that they showed such a variety of photos along with explaining many of the details associated with some of the designs. They both did well explaining how Frank's designs were made to compliment the land around it and how he used the local materials to make his homes even more like the land. I liked that they also told us us the good and bad of his designs, I haven't considered how building things so radically could be an issue for them structurally. One thing I would suggest for the presentation would be to reorganize the slides to have less but larger images per slide. I really liked seeing the homes, but the photos were sometimes a little small.

  3. The biggest strength of their presentation I would say was how the explained to the crowd the difference between the structeres they showed. They also did a nice job on teaching us what made FLW so different from other architects. The thing I would suggest to be concious of next time is making their slide a little less text-heavy.

  5. You guys both did a good job on the presentation. I didn't know who Frank Lloyd Wright was before but you guys did a really good job of explaining who he was and all of his accomplishments. I liked how you guys had pictures of all his cool designs and also discussed the things that were wrong with some of his designs. Something I would suggest to work on would be to maybe use a little less text on the slides so that it's easier to concentrate on what you guys were saying

  6. I didn't know very much about Frank Lloyd Wright before, but by the end of your presentation I got a much better understand of what he stood for. I really liked the pictures of his different designs and you guys explaining the meaning behind them. I had no idea that he was the person who created open lay outs and car ports. The only suggestion I have is maybe you could have talked a little bit more about his life, but over all I learned a lot and stayed engaged in the presentation.

  7. Its amazing how much Frank Lloyd Wright influenced many of our buildings we have today. I never realized the difference he made in housing. I thought you guys had a good the thesis. I also liked how you guys were able to incorporate definitions and a lot of visualization to help someone like me that does not know much about architecture. I just feel like the presentation could have used more preparation because there were a lot of pauses and it was a little choppy.

  8. It's fascinating to learn that Frank Lloyd Wright was influenced by nature and he wanted construct buildings naturally. It was nice to put some examples of different structures of buildings to help us construct what it looks like. In the beginning of the presentation, it was clever to interact with the audience and it's always important to connect with the audience. Enthusiasm always makes a great presentation, in my opinion. The presentation could perhaps be simpler meaning that it should just include key facts. It was great and I learned about him.

  9. I never knew who Frank Lloyd Wright was before your presentation, but now I find myself looking around at all the houses/buildings when I drive wondering what the inside looks like. I like how you guys had a lot of pictures because it showed how creative he was. He went above and beyond what everyone was doing at the time and made a name for himself. I think that you could have put a little more background information into the power point so that we could get a gist of who he was as a person. Also, it was kind of hard to hear what you were saying because of the volume of the video. It would have been better if you turned the sound off. Other than that, you guys did really good and it was entertaining learning about him.

  10. I already knew a little bit about Frank Lloyd Wright I just didn't know he did that much! It was very intriguing that he had created such marvelous houses. The house on the Rock was one of the coolest architectural innovations I have seen. I love how he blends his houses with nature and works with them instead of against them. The whole "each person should build there own house" ideology stuck with me because your home should be your sanctuary and you should be happy with it. I enjoyed your presentation, but it seemed that we didn't learn much about his past/biography. Also if you guys benchmark the parts of the video you want to address it would make the presentation stand out a little bit more instead of jumping around so much. Other than that the presentation was good.

  11. I had heard of Wright's work prior to the presentation, but I never attached any names to it. Your presentation shed light on the massive effect Wright has had on American and global architecture. I did not know before that Wright was the man that brought us out of the classical style homes and into modern designs. The presentation was very informative, but that was also a downside at times. I felt there was too much time spent on discussing specific homes rather than his general accomplishments and the compared architect. I did like how strongly the powerpoint relied on pictures rather than facts, it showed how informed the speakers were about the topic.

  12. Great job on your presentation on Frank Lloyd Wright. My sister actually live in Oak Park, IL. Not in a Frank Lloyd Write house but they are right down the street. The is a walking tour you can take to see the houses he built. I never knew he would only use products of the places he was building. That was very interesting to me. I would have like to hear more about him as a person is all. You did a good job.

  13. I have known about frank Lloyd Wright for a long time and have always admired his work but you did show me some details that i did not know about him along with a house or two i had not looked up before. Your presentation on him was very good and had a lot of information. However, I do think there was too much information on each slide but that is easily fixable so all in all good job.

  14. I've heard the name before, But I've never known anything about Frank Lloyd Wright. I think you guys did a good job on your presentation, and I think he sounds like an interesting and creative person. I always love seeing people who try new things, and are passionate about something, like architecture. One of the most catching pieces was the water house. I think it's cool seeing something like that exist, and to think about how it was made. The Japanese architect Toyo Ito you compared him to also caught my eye, pretty much purely because of the Japanese part (way to appeal to your audience member!). Something you might have been able to do better might be talking more about his design process and motivation.
