  1. I never knew that Gandhi was such an activist for non violence that he would sacrifice his body in a sense of starvation in order to prove a point. I think that is truly remarkable. One thing I think your presentation could have benefited from is less information about his life prior and more about how he is a visionary and what makes him unique. I thought the background was important to set the scene for how he is a visionary. Overall a very interesting presentation!

  2. You guys did a great job of showing how Gandhi was a visionary and all of the things he accomplished through his non violent protests. I also liked how you compared him to Martin Luther King because they were very similar and King was inspired by many of Gandhi beliefs. I think that Gandhi has a lot of really good quotes and it would have been cool if you guys added some more of those to your presentation.

  3. I liked how you guys elaborated on how Gandhi was a civil rights activists that supported non-violent protests. What he has accomplished has made him a influential role model for Martin Luther King Jr. His beliefs derived from Gandhi and it's remarkable how these two men changed society. It would have been great to cut some stuff out about his personal life and emphasize more on his ideals.

  4. I think you guys did a really nice job on showing all the things Gandhi did throughout his life. From beginning as law student to being an icon for civil rights. I never knew he traveled to England or was a law student, so that was very interesting for me. One thing I would have expanded on would be to show more of how he was a visionary. You discussed a lot of his past but it would have been nice to expand more onto the effects of his work.

  5. Its amazing how much Gandhi was able to influence the people to fight for their freedom, like in the salt march. I thought you guys did a good job on providing information about Gandhi's upcoming, and how he got to where he was. I also thought the Martin Luther King Jr. passage that you gave to the class was a great idea, it really engaged the class. I thought you guys could have used some more pictures though. That would have helped with visualization.

  6. I loved how you guys did a fantastic background about Gandis life. How he explored culture through his college experiences, and started learning about other people. The fact that you guys printed out the Birmingham letter, and highlighted it showed the amount of effort put into the presentation and really emphasized the problems between civil rights. It was a great comparison to Gandhi, and his non violent protest. The only thing you guys may work on would be either going to slow, or trying to go too deep into his biography. Sure his life is interesting, but if you keep talking about his past it hides what he truly stood for.

  7. I thought you guys did a nice job on explaining why Gandhi was an important figure in society and how he demonstrated his beliefs in civil rights. Something to consider next time might be to rely a little less on the text and slides so the audience feels more engaged. Also thought the handout was nice to tie to the comparison.

  8. Gandhi is such a historically significant figure that most would find it difficult to fit his life into a 12 minute presentation. I felt you guys did a good job of boiling it down to the important facts. On the downside, I felt that the presentation wasn't as engaging as it could have been. There was also too much reading off of the powerpoint. To finish off, I thought the comparison to MLK was perfect. No two activists relate more perfectly than those two.

  9. It was interesting to see a presentation on someone that almost everyone knows a lot about. You guys did a good job with it and especially with improvising with limited time left. However, the presentation did get boring and there was too much writing on some of the slides. I too did like the comparison to MLK very much.

  10. I felt the presentation was very interesting about Gandhi. I didn't know he had so much to do with the Indian Independence Movement. You did a good job comparing him to MLK they both wanted peaceful change. I would say notes would have helped the first part flow better. There was a ton of good info but it was hard to follow because it seamed you forgot where you were at. Good job (o:

  12. I think that you guys did a good job. A lot of people already know a lot about Gandhi but the information that you guys gave was more in depth. It was cool to learn about how he went to Africa and faced discrimination, and how he took a stand without causing harm to others. One thing that I noticed is that you guys seemed to be dependent on the information that was on the slides. Besides that, good job!
