  1. I never realized how large of an impact Jack Hannah had on the Columbus Zoo, how before him it was not much of a zoo. You both seemed to know a lot about the information you presented and did a good job and incorporating your own emotions and opinions, using pathos. The material was presented well overall, the only problem I saw was that there was so much information at times I had trouble keeping up. So maybe slow down the presentation or space the material out more by leaving less important stuff out.

  3. I thought you guys did a good job with explaining all the roles he had with changing the ways the zoo culture was back then. The conversation with the taxi driver I thought was interesting. Something to maybe be aware of next time is transitions. Whether from slide to slide or change in topics just trying to keep those as smooth as possible.

  4. I never knew Jack Hanna basically re created the Columbus zoo. I found your presentation very interesting and easy to engage with. I enjoyed listening to you both talk about him you both seemed as if you were excited to teach the class about everything he has done for wildlife in general. One thing you could work on next time is your overall organization that at times became a little choppy between separate aspects of Jack Hanna. Great job (:

  5. I think you guys did a good job of showing the impact that Jack Hanna had on the zoo. You showed how passionate he really is towards animals and all the wonderful things he did for the Columbus Zoo. I wasn't aware that Jack Hanna did so many things for animals all around the world. I liked how you guys had the picture of the map to help explain that. One thing you could work on is that I don't think you guys compared him to anyone. I thought that would have been interesting to see who you would have compared him to.

  6. I think you both did a great job telling the story of who Jack Hanna really is and visuals to keep me interested. I didn't know that he was so involved in other organizations other than the Columbus zoo like Sea World or Busch Gardens. I was left wondering who inspired him to want to get into the animal field and why he took that first job in a vet office. I think it would have been nice to place his inspiration somewhere in there.

  7. Great overview of Jack Hannah. I liked how you introduced Jack Hannah to us by mentioning what he did early on to express what he is doing right now. The powerpoint presentation was clear and easy for the audience to comprehend. The only thing that you can work on is organizing the presentation to allow flow throughout the whole presentation. Other than that, I liked it and you guys did a good job.

  8. I think that you guys did a really good job with both the introduction and the conclusion of the presentation. Also, you guys elaborated on the bullet points well rather than just reading word for word off the slides. I thought it was interesting how his ideas came to life after having a simple conversation with a taxi driver. It's funny how things work sometimes. One thing that I think you could work on is that I don't think you compared Jack Hannah with anyone. It would have been cool to see who you would have chosen.

  9. Jack Hannah is awesome, and I love watching his interviews with Letterman. I learnt a lot about him and how he wasn't really a director of the zoo but, the ambassador. The word choice was good because it just kind of explained how he would just go on shows and stuff, and show animals most people have never seen before. Your presentation was good you guys had hand gestures, good voice, and explained a lot of unique stories. The only issue that could have been addressed was losing track of words, it is a very minor issue so it isn't as crucial, but other than that good job on the presentation guys!

  10. I didn't know much about Jack Hannah before your presentation other than that he was affiliated with the Columbus Zoo. Your presentation showed me just how influential of a person he has been in his lifetime. I had no idea that he made American zoos what they are today. I quite liked how much detail you went into with the brief slides, and you also had strong visual aids (such as the world map with pictures of Hannah). One thing I think you could have worked on was the speaking. I felt that the speakers were not quite relaxed with the material enough and used words like "um" too often. Other than that I enjoyed the presentation and thought it was very informative.

  11. I always knew some things about Jack Hannah but you really taught me a lot more. I met him when I was young and kind of always subtly admired him but did not know the extent to what he has done. The story of how no one knew about the zoo before he changed it really showed what he has done. However, i would've like to hear just a little more about what he did with the zoo. Also, I did not notice you compare or contrast him with anyone else so that could be an improvement.

  13. You guys did a good job. I didn't know Jack hannah when I first looked at the name, but after a minute of explaining it hit me. I think he has a very interesting success story. Julia, you looked like you were very knowledgable and passionate about what you were talking about. I can't really think of a criticism, But something you could have done better was maybe talk more about the effects Jack Hannah had on the animals? you showed the picture of the concrete walls, but maybe go a step further and say the conditions for the animals at the zoo at this point?
