  1. I liked how you covered multiple aspects of Anthony Bourdain's life from his cooking, to his show and books. I think that really showed that he is a very diverse visionary who changed food from simply being something to eat into something that is apart of our culture. One thing that you could benefit from is ensuring that you are more prepared next time, it seemed at times that you two weren't on the same page about what you were talking about. But overall I really enjoyed the presentation.

  2. I liked how you guys said that Anthony Bourdain didn't just look at food as something you eat but he looked at the meaning and culture behind it. I didnt know much about him so I found this presentation interesting and I learned a lot about what he is done. I think in your presentation you could have added a little bit more on what he has brought to American food culture and how he has affected us.

  3. At first, I've thought that Anthony Bourdain is just a travel expert. But something I had learned in this presentation was that he is a chef, T.V. personality and author. I also learned that he sees food differently than we see it. He goes in depth about the culture and where it had originated from. It would've been helpful if there were more comparisons to him but other than that, the presentation went great.

  4. I thought it was interesting how much Anthony Bourdain is able to reveal about food that most people overlook. I thought you guys did a good job remembering the information about Anthony without having to rely on your slides or notecards. You guys also had a lot of pictures, which was good for visualization. The only thing I thought needed more work was engaging the class or showing more enthusiasm.

  5. I really liked how you covered how important food was to him, it wasn't just sustenance, but an expression, that was very important to me in the presentation. I had heard of him before but to find out he really has a passion for food and not TV and media was very interesting to hear. If I were to suggest anything it would be to loosen up, show a little enthusiasm keep your audience interested through your behaviors not just the topic.

  6. I loved your presentation, because Anthony Bourdain is awesome. I liked how you didn't just show him as a TV personality, but someone who does other things, such as writes books, does work as a chef, and even has his own book. Another really captivating part about the presentation was that you talked about how he thought the worst food he had ever eaten was from Mc Donalds. If you watch the show it seems like he eats way more horrid cuisines so this fascinated me. I just wonder what it is like to taste all those different foods. The only thing you guys may need to work on would be the video link. Make sure it is the right link, and that you know what it is about. Other than that good job guys.

  7. Anthony Bourdain is one of my favorite people alive today. I have watched his shows countless times so I already had a good background on him. I did like how you compared him to Gordon Ramsay, they are both powerful figures in the Culinary industry. I felt that the video shown towards the end was not a good reflection of Bourdain's passion for food and that there are many better ways of showing just how talented a chef and writer Bourdain is.

  8. I never knew very much about Anthony Bourdain but i knew of him so this was very interesting to learn more. You guys did a great job of giving his background and everything. I fount it really funny that the worse thing he's ever eaten was a mcnugget.I thought the video at the end wasn't the best and along with having the wrong link in your presentation just made it feel a little unprepared.

  9. I never knew much about Anthony Bourdain. I am interested in watching his show now. Not sure that I would like to see him eat anything alive though. The snake was very disturbing. I find his dislike of the McDonalds nugget funny too. The only suggestion would be check your link but you did a good job.

  10. I thought you guys did a good job. I liked the information about how he's eaten a whole bunch of weird and seemingly gross stuff, and then followed it with his worst meal being a mcdonalds chicken nugget. It speaks a lot about the state of food in our country, and you did a good job of tying the 2 together. Something you might have been able to do better might have been adding a part about his motivation behind how he works with food, and got into food in the first place.

  11. I think that you guys did really well! I really got the feeling that he loved food and that it was more than just food to him. He saw that there was a culture/tradition behind the food that he was eating and wanted the world to know. I also think that you did a good amount of research on Anthony Bourdain. Not only did you know the name of his book, but you also knew what it was about and certain things that he talked about. One thing that I think you could have worked on was to maybe be a little more prepared. It seemed as if you two were on different pages sometimes, but other than that you guys did great! Kept my attention!

  12. I had no idea that Anthony Bourdain had done some other things than his show No Reservations. I think it was interesting to know the back ground of why he started his own show and point out the difference food has in other cultures. I think it was a great comparison to Gorden! The presentation itself was great, I would have liked to learn why he became so interested in food and where he got his big break into the industry. Great job though!
